Katrina isn't a standout performer. But for an actor to survive and thrive for 15 years suggests she's doing something right. And, she didn't do it based on PR alone. She did deliver in NL, MBKD, ETT, and Bharat.

She's no Smita Patil, but she has her own niche. The younger generation is only amplifying her screen success.

Like dude, do you seriously think someone like Katrina is some virginal sati savitri? She is/was always in the news for her colorful personal life! First Salman, then Ranbir and now Vicky. And I don't think I need to remind you about her past liaisons with creepy, shady men like Gulshan Grover, Kaizad Gustad and Terry Stephens to name a few because these are all public knowledge DUH! Why do you think she's still a spinster? All thanks to her shady past and murky background No reputed khandaan will ever touch her with a barge pole because of her past ....Yet you have the nerve to shame those starlets for their personal life/choices Irony just died a slow and painful death!

And did you just mention Bharat as one of her acclaimed performances? The joke's on you then because the public and critics alike not only panned her crappy acting skills but all of them opined that the part required an authentic Indian actress and not some firangi actress pretending to be an Indian

Just read some of the notices she got for her 'amazing turn' in Bharat

"Even the romance between Bharat and Kumud (Katrina Kaif, who still pronounces “bilkul” like “bill cool”, and is unconvincing from start to finish) produces no great feeling."

"Khan and Kaif, on the other hand, are off the mark and off colour throughout. Nope, even when Bharat addresses Kumud as "Madam Sir" with the actor's signature cutesiness it falls flat. Kaif's Hindi diction has always been problematic, here it is not even papered over with the by-now-standard her-character-grew-up-outside-India excuse and the way she says the English word "store" more than once in a particular scene is very distracting."

Couldn't have said it better..👍🏼...people like to downplay Kat's success so much ......as if in the cutthroat industry where it is difficult to actresses to survive, she not only survived but reached the top and reigned.......now people will say Salman......where are the other actresses that Salman promoted ...where are his own two brothers......if success was as easy as being promoted by a superstar...then Salman's khandaan and his girlfriends and those who he promotes whould have been ruling BW..nahi??😆
