How should SRK make a comeback?

The guy's up shit's creek after Fan, Raees, Harry, and Zero. I'm not talking about his current net worth cuz of course, he's still filthy rich and no amount of box office disasters will put a dent on it. But what kinda movie do you think he should do next to get off the flop-a-thon train?

His next seems to be Laal Singh Chaddha but that name already doesn't have the right ring to it .... Pathan, and you can only sit back and watch how that plays out. If I was his career advisor 😆 ... I'd get him to play an anti-hero but with one of the parallel cinema directors who know how to draw the act out of actors. I've had it with the self-sabotaging nonsense he picks.

I got this idea after watching Breathless on Amazon Prime a while back. Madhavan was really good in season 1 while Abhishek was just decent in season 2 ... but I can imagine SRK as vigilante anti-hero along those lines and making waves if that was condensed into a movie.

It's not like he hasn't been in movies for over 5-10 years that this should be called his comeback he actually never left in the first place. By the grace of god since the day he debuted in 1992 he has been active every year ! We cannot count 2020 as there was a pandemic or else his shooting for pathan would have been complete.

Now to what roles he should play next I enjoyed his anti hero roles and ofcourse romantic ones. Let's just wait and watch how he will surprise us again 😊

Or we could chuck all the Ananya's, alia's and shanya's out of the picture and just have a nice SRK focused movie with an equally talented ensemble.

He could do a movie centered around politics too, actually... like Rajneeti, with him as the anti-hero. Juhi would be great alongside him and I wouldn't mind repeating Katrina there with ..... Hrithik. 😎

On topic: I would love for him to do a detective story. Pure plot. None of the arm spread, neck fetish, sing a song romance. In fact, no love interest or back story. Just an entertaining tale.

But BW doesn't do stories. They do top hero, top heroine, 4 actions, 2 love scenes, 4 songs, one item number, and climax.

His prime faded out as soon as he stop taking sonu nigam and udit narayan as his playback voices :p :p

I've been saying this for ages- he needs to sign a cool and well written webseries- preferably a thriller where he can play shades of grey, a character who is charismatic but complicated. Like Hugh Laurie's role in the Night Manager or a Breaking Bad.

This will help him get his street cred back- he'll be back to his basics of what made him a star- in roles such as Darr and Baazigar- but this time without the melodrama or bad writing

I saw LSC before Pathan on his wiki page and ran with it. 😆 My bad. Pathan sounds better and hopefully he's picked a good story this time.

A detective story with an edgy cat-and-mouse buildup sounds great... just not the Don kind. 😆 I also think he can deliver a great performance in the right hands ..... Agreed that he really needs to shed all that extra fluff that don't add anything to the story.
