feel exactly as you feel..this was not a good performance by any means..it looked so forced..worse.. if you have seen the original you cannot help but compare and that makes the flaws even more highlighted..have to point out the mirror scene where she is exceptionally mechanical and rehersed..cannot help but think how i got goosebumps in the original and here it looked so pale..

parineeti has lost confidence in her craft and it has been showing since years now..she has become conscious which is the death of an artist precisely coz it never lets you fully shed your inhibitations..she is also horribly limited which this movie only proves further..

I agree somewhat. There were moments where she was pretty flat and robotic. There was a moment in that group therapy scene where I for split second I thought she was nailing it, but then she went flat again for the rest of the movie. I will add that the script and screenplay were quite a letdown too. There were too many plot-holes in the movie, the culprits were not impressive, and that extra twist at the end was just not needed

Is it bad if I add that I'm actually relieved they casted Pari in the movie though? My standards are so low at this point that I'm just grateful this role didn't go to any of the nepo-betiyaan....because the film could have ended up even worse😆

Pari was strictly okay .

The movie itself was average basically it was like a khichdi of things.

And the fact that no one apart from PC is talking about this film is a matter of concern for Pari. It’s sad how she lost all of it with her weight loss rant that she used to do years ago.

Pari's performance was not bad per se but as TM said something was lacking. I agree with the TM that the performance was too mechanical. Her performance was strictly average at best. Not her best work but certainly not her worst.

For me Kriti Kulhari's was the stand out performance.

I liked the book, both the HW and BW adaptations are weak in comparison to the novel.

I laughed out loud in that scene. It was like a parody. She can't act at all. I'm convinced she never could but was able to get by in first few films because she was just playing herself.

The movie was horrendous so I can't blame Parineeti alone though. It's slow paced and makes no sense. There is no suspense and nothing that makes your heart race. The dialogues are just pathetic and for some reason, they keep talking in English. Why remake the movie when you're going to set it it in London and have them talking in English so much? What's the point?

The original movie wasn't that great to begin with but this one is much, much worse.

Haven't watched the movie, will not watch it, but Parineeti sucks, and I don't need to watch the movie to know it.
