Watched all of those tbh but You said last movies. That’s what I am going with. She was extremely bad in those yet nobody use them to undermine her talent. Who to tell you she can still act if she failed to act in her last 2 movies?

i said "all her previous films" not last two films there is a difference

about acting she was good great in most of her filmography unlike deepika whose decent performances range to ony very handful films

so i am going to say that she will do well in her upcoming films

Talking Alia, bringing Deepika. Truth is Deepika in her 2 last movies >>>> Alia in her last two.

Actually the topic is about Deepika and alia was brought in. I am atleast trying to give Deepika some importance in her own topic

Thats not a truth but it can be your opinion.

Alia has a great screen presence raazi was the biggest proof of that in that movie she lookee beautiful she acted brilliantly. On the contrary Deepika s performance in BM and padmavat left a lot to be desired. Plus PC looked more magnificent and ofcourse gave a better performance than Deepika in BM so that s that

In conclusion i think alia will turn out to be as good in her upcoming movie with slb as she was in all her previous films

I never doubted Alia's acting skills, she is decent and sometimes good for me. But my understanding of the term SLb's heroine is someone who can justify those grand sets and movies.

Black and khamosi are for sure SLB films but rani/manisha are not termed as his heroine, atleast I haven't heard it ever.( Aish then Deepu)

Fingers crossed for Alia's movie. I am admirer of cinema with little bias to those expressive eyes and dimples of DP

No one "replaces" actresses like Aishwarya and Deepika, and certainly not in Bhansali movies. Aishwarya is a step above everyone else and Deepika will also always remain one of the best muses in SLB movies... even though she has her weaknesses. People will come and go but some leave their marks that are timeless.

Don't know why Alia is being discussed here but last I checked, Kalank flopped. But of course, as always, she is trying to shove herself down people's throats with two more SLB movies cuz she has been wanting to "prove" that she can also be like his previous muses. Who said that persistence doesn't pay? 😆 That's how she has always operated.

Do people read what they wrote before they post?

Since when is signing a second film with a director "shoving" something or whatever disgustingness you're portraying?

Not to mention, taking into account the time the first film was announced, and the second one being released, it will be about a 4-5 year gap.

Aishwarya and Deepika had shorter time-spans.

You hate Alia Bhatt, fine, but make it make sense, maybe?

Shoving down (someone's) throat is a pretty kosher English idiom. It is a perfect description of someone's repetitive and desperate attempts to do something that has a clear track record of falling flat and flopping. In this case, it would be Alia trying to sell herself as a Bhansali "muse" a la Ash, Deepika, etc and her obsession with trying to prove to the audience that she can be graceful and perform classical dance like them too, by hook or by crook). Now, you don't necessarily have to agree with my opinion but there is nothing "disgusting" about the phrase I used by its very nature.

I seem have hit a nerve there but hate indicates a deep-rooted feeling and Alia is simply not important enough for that. But I will admit that I have zero respect for her.
