Did Naina have friends?

Yjhd wali Naina. They never showed her other friends, before trip. Did they mean to say, she was so studious that she couldn't make any friends? It's great she found such a close friend in Aditi after that trip.

I was obsessed with this movie some years ago. It's been a long since I rewatched it but that time, it had a long effect on me. I used to be asleep only after re-visiting whole movie in mind on 3x speed, daily. Shubhanallah song, just loveee used to listen on repeat. And ofcourse Kabiraaa song..

I actually used to think I am like Naina ..goddd..that time I was in class 9. Now, at maybe before trip Naina's age? where was Naina, and where I am. Hmm..She was cool.

Though I don't think being studious and having friends are mutually exclusive, in this movie Naina was shown to be such a nerd that she didn't have time to have friends. That was implied.

However, I loved the fact that she had a side to her that was just waiting to be tapped into, and which Bunny realized. He allowed her to blossom, and made her come out of her shell. He also accepted her for who she was during the trip.

I think it was Bunny who made Naina fall in love with herself, and that just led to her becoming more easy with people in general, and probably paved the way for her friendship with Aditi.

It is popular that notion in stories and movies that shy, introverts people being great in studies. In real life, scholar people generally have more friends and are more fun loving ones though.

Great sense of humour, popular, good in extra curricular activities, good in studies, having a large group of friends.

Person who couldn't make friends till studying mbbs? Easily being all different person after that one trip, that part is hard to believe in this movie.
