Why did Disha fail in becoming Katrina 2.0? - Page 2

She does not have a beautiful face and almost every current actress has a great body. So there is nothing extraordinary about her. She is overrated when it comes to beauty.

The thing is six packs/hot bodies are too common now and no longer an achievement . In the 90s only few actors like Salman, Sanjay, Karishma, Urmilla had it which made them stand out .

You guys are so quick to undermine Katrina and credit everyone but her for the extraordinary success she’s had. Salman and her looks definitely opened up the doors to her, but to achieve a number 1 position for so many years and sustain you need exceptional drive, ambition, work ethic, intelligence. Katrina has all of this and her sexiness is not “in your face” like Disha. Katrina never over exposed herself or her body publicly, didn’t use social media until recently and built mystery and a certain aura around her. Disha hasn’t.

She is not interested in films

She do films time to time only for constant fame and relevancy etc.

Katrina was a flop actress for the first five years of her career. It's only in 2007 that her luck started shining.

Katrina was stereotyped and hence, getting roles had no competition and her being with Salman and RK promised her more roles (since one has a way of controlling the industry and the other to manipulate) but Disha has no one like that.

I don't think she is planning to take such a route

She may not want major roles in the movies, may be happy with whatever she gets and not ambitious enough, but Katrina's career trajectory and Disha's is very different.

Agree. Katrina was/is still occasionally quite wooden but she is not bland. She always stood out een from her Humko Deewana Kar Gaye days. Does that make sense?
