Arjun Kapoor was good in a few films?

Here is the list of films in which his acting was decent IMO:

Ishaqzaade

2 States

Tevar

Aurangzeb

Finding Fanny

Ki and Ka

It is only of late that he has gone from bad to unbearable.

What can be the reason of his downfall?

Discuss.

1. Complacency. He had so much potential and raw intensity in Ishaqzaade and Aurangzeb. However he underestimated the constant hard work and networking that goes into sustaining stardom and took it easy.

2. Malaika and the Salman factor couldn't have done him much good in the goodwill department either.

3. He also lost that lean hungry look and physique which set him apart from his peers.

He was OK in Panipat. IMO people unfairly compared his performance to Ranveer's Bajirao. Arjun tried explaining that Bhau was an introvert who kept his feelings inside. He was not very charismatic or flamboyant but a superb commander. But he came across a bit defensive in the interviews instead of being properly humble and penitant.

4. And people enjoyed trashing the nepo kids too much to give him a second chance.

He started off as the buff guy with lots of rawness...honestly I remember a lot of girls crushing on him during Ishaqzaade until 2 States.

Idk what happened to him after that. Maybe he got lazy, maybe it was stress or something else.

He used to look good too when fit . I think he just doesn’t have the motivation to act

In Ishaqzaade, he said he was broken down to fit into the character by the director. I liked him in Finding Fanny only (I didn't watch Ishaqzaade)

Yeah loved him in Ishaqzaade most ..

He was good in two states , ki and ka ..

Maybe he can still do good if he tries ..

Every useless star-kid has some use.
