I don't remember his name, he was following Hrithik around after his divorce. He's the same guy who played Katrina's brother in MBKD.

I think he charges like 80 crores, his fee for War was around that. Plus there are brand endorsements and public appearances, all that is enough for him to survive.
He doesn't intentionally work like this. If you notice his pattern, he is not fit and has to get back in shape and get that strength again. He suffers from a bad case of scoliosis so that doesn't help him at all when he has to do action scenes or even dance.
War's fee was 40 crores or so and 40% of the profit - so around 100-110cr. As with older films he'll make more from it when satellite and streaming licenses have to be renewed.
It's not just the scoliosis and slipped discs which he's grown to manage to a great extent by building up his body (Agneepath and lifting Dutt was a big setback - he said he got cocky - and then he had another one pre War). He's had rheumatic knees since he was a child that began to grow arthritic in the late 2000s. Drs told him around 2008/9 that he would no longer be able to walk in a year. It's the main reason he chose to do Guzaarish where he wouldn't need to walk but could still act. He sought other Drs and treatments around the world, had operations and alternative remedies and staved off the arthritis and pain. So yes it often not a matter of not wanting to make films but being physically unable to do so. That and he likes to research and prepare for roles.

Do you mean his Life Coach that he was roundly mocked for? Around the time of the divorce he was also recuperating from the blood clot and operation which wound up taking 7 months instead of 1 month recovery which contributed to depression. He was also being stalked.
The tragedy is that highly educated pHDs work as sub contract for 5k salary in college as lecturers
while actors make 80 crore a movie
no wonder its called kalyug
Even those studying in iisc/nurse work 10k-20 k if they work in india
