No need. He was already in the military.

It was true, unconditional, selfless love❤️

The kind of love that is very rare in today's world hence difficult to envisage. But it surely exists.

There's selfless and then there's self destructive stupidity.

Not 22 days or weeks or months. But 22 years.

If he did it to save her life that's selfless, doing it to save her reputation - that's stupid.

Whatever...but is still not worth wasting your entire life for. It's not like she was in mortal danger.

I don't think anybody is dumb enough to do that. No normal person throws away his entire life for somebody he knew for 1.5. days. 😆

Also he didn't technically keep quiet to keep Zara's reputation intact.. he did to ensure k Zara leads a happy married life.. because Raza had threatened him k he would make Zara's life hell if Veer opened his mouth and would take care of her if he agrees to his condition.. so it really wasn't about Zara's reputation but about Zara's well-being and happiness

Sukoon se jee rahi hogi Zara.

❤️ He couldnt have possibly known the facts from a jail. This is the best love story SRK has worked in. Their story started in the backdrop of 70-80s and things were not so cool as it is today. Zara's father literally had a heart attack right there.

I haven't seen such love story in BW anymore. Yashji is love. ❤️ The mere fact that India Pak have so much of tension over abcd xyz crap was so easily forgotten while watching the movie, you'd only see a man hating on another man because he cannot deal with the fact that his to-be-wife loves this man. The reason of his hatred was related to love.

I dont see any loophole in this movie.

Well the 'love' itself was kind of stupid for me, so...😆

Like, he only knew her for ONE goddamn day, for f*ck's sake. Forget love, you can't even develop a hard infatuation with just ONE day. They should've shown her living with Veer in India for at least a few weeks or a month.

True. I never thought of his parents. Veer Zara remains one of my favorite movies.
