As someone said it was a different era- everyone was obsessed with tehzeeb, aadarsh and maryada.

SO if Veer had taken Zaara's name it would have definitely ruined her and her family's reputation in the society.

So Veer made the great sacrifice for his lady love.

That was a time when a woman's dignity meant everything for them....that is what Veer tried to protect....he was not an idiot...even by today's standards...a little impractical and emotional maybe...but definitely not an idiot.

Like, he only knew her for ONE goddamn day, for f*ck's sake. Forget love, you can't even develop a hard infatuation with just ONE day. They should've shown her living with Veer in India for at least a few weeks or a month.

Aah ok I see. I guess you dont believe in this 'Love at first sight' thing altogether. Well good thing is, me neither. 😆 I dont believe in it for myself. But I do believe that this concept exists, I have seen such people around me who at least looks like as happy as the other types😆. So I dont doubt that it works for some people. Guess it worked for these 2 as well. 😆
