And more than that, if he died while directly under the influence of a drug, why didn’t it show up in a tox screen?

I seriously am not one of those idiots who think marijuana was being mixed in his tea or coffee or he was being given weed without his consent. But the point is there isn't any digital proof of him smoking a joint other than the statement if accused ( even if he did smoke there isn't any proof against him) so people calling him an addict is really a reach. Also I find it unbelievable that he was the only one in that house smoking weed where poor kids like Reha, Showik, Samuel and Dipesh ( lol there is literally a video of him smoking pot) were only bringing bags of marijuana for their master. It's so obvious that they all indulged in consumption and are putting entire blame on him. He used to go to his farmhouse on weekends and he had not been there for a long time as he was unwell. I guess his staff had access to it so it's very much possible these people used to have party in his absence as well.

I also don’t think that Sushant was necessarily an addict, mostly because weed is shown to be less addictive than even caffeine and sugar. That said, the only thing they can charge these guys on based on evidence we’ve seen so far would be procurement. Like even a video of someone smoking what looks like a joint isn’t the best evidence, because it could be played off as a cig. In fact, if the only real proof is some WhatsApp chats and the fact that they were exchanging money, that’s also really circumstantial. Given that all these people are alive and in custody/have been questioned, I’m assuming that they got drug tested - blood, urine and hair follicle - for actual proof of them using.

the whole point is these people arent inside for Sushant's case.NCB nabbed them to get some dirt on Bollyweird so why blame sush for it? If miss Rhea and he bro were willingly taking part in procurement then only they are responsible for their plight.

They may not be inside for his case, and they did willingly get involved in whatever it is they were charged for. But that being said, it’s unlikely this case would have come to light had it not been for Sushant’s death and the whole hullabaloo that happened afterwards. Now he’s not here to defend himself so on some level I do get the primal survival instincts to protect yourself and the others who are alive even if it’s by blaming him. That’s not to say this is a good thing, but I do get where the instinct comes from.
