DP has milked her depression story to the maximum for publicity. Also, participated in jnu protests just ahead of Chapaak release, all for publicity. Padmaavat controversy just put her more in the public eye, if anything at all. So no, she does everything for her own benefit.

And if she has been consuming illegal substances n thereby providing cash for illegal activities/terrorism, necessary action has to be taken against her. Yes, the media trial is uncalled for and should be condemned, and she definitely isn't the only one who is involved in this. But none of this means 'she deserves better' or whatever.

Couldn’t agree more!! She deserves better for reaching this far on merit, in spite of the public break up early on with Ranbir. After the struggle with love, life and mental health to find a happy space and now dragged right through the dirt.. You will be stronger by the end of it Deepika!

Thanks for this article. Deepika has inspired many with her contribution to mental health and other causes, sad that she is dragged here.

But, one thing I agree is, DP has been a target of BJP govt since her JNU visit. I absolutely applaud her for bravely standing for her beliefs.

lol, I highly doubt she had any idea about what they were protesting at JNU, just like Farhaan Akhtar, who couldn't explain why he was protesting CAA. 😆 The problem with this social media generation is that there are too many under informed and over opinionated idiots.

and that’s why I say celebs like Deepika and Farhan should just stay away from political matter ( they don’t know why they were there to begin with 😆 ) rather than using it for their own gain and publicity .. during JNU or CAA protest focus should have been on protestors who were there for a cause unlike celebs who went there for their 2 min fame ..

I really applaud protestors for keeping their calm when these celebs went there and hijacked their protests ..
