Because there was never a relationship, just love that the two never got a chance to act upon their feelings and express it.

I am not saying she mustn't have loved him at all, it would've happened organically over a period of time.

Yeh I totally understand how tragic their love was. No doubts there at all!

It was unfortunate. How I wish Aman was little practical and aimed for even if a shorter but a fulfilling relationship with her just so both could have gotten the chance to express their love openly and to the max - Sometimes you do want to get it out of your system than to not have a chance at all!

Regardless of the consequences, heartache happened eventually. Might as well have gotten heart broken after giving each other a chance than to simply brush it off over his ticking timebomb of a limited life!

But besides that, it's still true that time heals everything. It may have taken longer for her but the kinda partner she had would have made her struggle easier!

Hence my previous post!

People here hate tv serials but the movie was exactly like a daily soap. Difference is that the person sacrificing was a Man and not a woman.

Guy sacrificing his love because he is sick and trying to get her married to his casanova friend without caring if the girl liked his womanizer friend or not.

If it was a woman she would be called sacrificing ki devi.

She did. After she got married to him she slowly fell for him.

@bold is exactly what I mean. They never got a chance. That 'what if' scenario eats you from within when you never get the chance to express yourself to the right person even once.

@red: exactly. No one would understand her situation with Aman except Rohit. And Naina wasn't the kind of girl who would've put herself out there to date/marry. Aman ensured that she lived the rest of her life with unconditional love and happiness...thats beautiful ❤️

Yes, let’s talk about the one movie that guarantees leaving me depressed for one whole week.

Did Naina love Rohit?

I don’t think she loved him during the time Aman was alive (hold my breaking heart). Rohit loved and offered her the security and emotional stability that she never had whilst growing up. He was the best friend and companion that she could lean on for support when times were tough. Rohit knew and accepted the fact that Naina loved Aman. She didn’t have to swallow her feelings down and walk around eggshells with him. In that aspect, she most likely considered him the best person to spend the rest of her life with.

Post marriage

Eventually she may have grown to love Rohit. Love comes in different shapes and forms. No, I don’t believe that Naina would ever feel that intensity of love for Rohit the way she did for Aman. That kind of first love is emotionally intense. You also have to consider everything Aman did was for her happiness. Whether it was helping her family financially, restoring broken bonds or breaking his own heart to get her married so that she is never left alone after his death. You could never get over someone like that. Heck, I’m still not over Aman and he was a fictional character 😆

So to answer the question simply put, Naina may have grown to love Rohit as a friend-turned-into-companion but she will always always love Aman. Twenty years after his death, she still cries for him and remembers Aman as her first love.

Ermagod. Excuse me while I re-watch Aman’s entry scene and cry once again.

I don’t think she ever really loved Rohit 🤷🏽‍♀️

Naina’s true love was Aman, the same way in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Rahul’s true love was Tina.

Anjali and Rohit were just for convenience.

Oouu careful, the Rahul-Anjali shippers are coming after you 😆

Imo Rahul from KKHH didn't love either of the girls. He fell for their appearance each time. I'd have loved to see the movie ending with Tina and Anjali becoming BFFs and dumping Rahul 😆

No. Since Aman had Savoir complex he meddled in and wrecked both their life. It is none of his business in the first place.

About kkhh Rahul had an ego that he can have the hottest girl in the college. Tina is just a trophy he won. But if Tina would have been alive when he meet Anjali he probably have realised that he loves Anjali but still have stuck with Tina since he can't accept that he had been wrong.
