No one has n answer to this.. Majority feel it will end by vaccine or herd immunity.. Now depends what comes earlier.. And most experts recommend more n more testing..

People can infer whether its a business Or genuine need as per their opinion.. IMO.. More the sample size of tests, more can we get n idea of the spread. But this virus has us all confused.

And its actually difficult for actors to follow precautions compared to us who work in n office setup..At work we can maintain distance, wear mask, take a breather.. But actors have to remove masks in front of camera.. With other actors n crew surrounding them.. They have to touch props n surfaces too though chances of infection from that r negligible

If going from rich to richer leads to others going from poor to getting food on their plate then it's well worth the risk. They were wrapping up a film which has also been shot for major parts. They went back to shoot because the Government allowed to for the sake of economy and for those hundreds of crew members who haven't had an income for the last six months. He could have easily backed out and been replaced, nothing would have affected Arjun since he is already rich and has most likely received his signing amount and other payment. But replacing him and shooting the film again from scratch would lead to the producers incurring more loses in a year that's anyways going to be horrible finance wise. So shoots haven't been resumed for people like Arjun who already have the money, it's been resumed for the 200+ people involved in the making of a film who need to get back to work for their do waqt ki roti !

I refuse to believe there is some samaaj seva going on here. Let’s finish shooting so our lowest paid workers who are anyway paid peanuts have some money during these difficult times. Bollywood is entirely driven by profits, it’s quite literally as simple as that. Any other narrative is heart warming but not factual.

Also, flip side to this. A lot of those workers if they catch the virus because they’re now back at work, not socially distancing and have serious symptoms, simply cannot afford medical treatment. Have you seen Sion Hospital (govt hospital) pre pandemic? Queues for hours on end. Now go look at the state since Covid hit.

Trust me, I know. Having lost someone close to me to the virus, I know. Hence why i’m a big advocate of stay at home if you can afford to.

Hope you feel better soon! Do you have a house help that goes to multiple peoples house? Perhaps when grocery shopping? There’s rumours even with the AC on, the germs can spread. It’s true anyone can get it, but socially distancing is something practically every government and scientist has recommended we do. Baaki toh, as you said, sab Bhagwan ke haath mein.

We hired a man to bring us groceries but weirdly only my brother and I caught the virus 🙁 my parents and grandparents are okay..thank god.

I understand your concern and I also believe we should take precautions and be extra careful but at the same time I don’t like this victim shaming. We are just human not god.

No one is being forced to get back to work. Those who are back at work be it rich actors like him or the daily wage labourers clearly know what they are into before stepping into the film set, that too despite every precaution being taken by people there. Like I said before, the lowest paid workers are there because they need the money more than vaccine for corona because empty stomach will kill them before corona does. And the lowest paid workers can only get back to work when actors get back on set otherwise how will one shoot? It's a full blown ecosystem out there with a lot of interdependency on one another on a film and unfortunately for people to have cash flow back into their lives, they will have to go to work. Those who are privileged enough will stay at home given that them staying does not affect the other elements of the ecosystem. Unfortunately for actors, despite all the luxury, they don't have that privilege.

Even if an actor fails to turn up, he/she will be replaced by another so it's going to pretty much be the same thing.
