How though? This is just for Mi Tv users. It's trending in the Mi TV community, not Hotstar. Just like how something trending on IF doesn't result in the film being a hit in the actual world. Why will anyone pay Mi TV when the sample size is much smaller than overall Hotstar users? My reason of quoting you was that the screenshot is not photoshopped, it's real. Didn't even talk about Sadak 2 trending in India. This Mi TV trend is as good as Kangana's interview trending on Youtube while Simran being a flop.

But MiTV can do a favor to some celebs who are or gonna be their brand/product ambassadors. It's like saying why would this and that group pay 10-15 crore to buy an SRK film, where SRK had danced at that group's chairman's daughter's wedding and charged them X amount of ticket of his upcoming release.

IndiaForums get credit at the beginning of many films. Why? Coz they get paid to do publicity for those films. So the forum will do anything to show those movies in good light. They would delete threads, comments that might damage the film.

I have no idea what Mi Tv is ... never heard of it before. If Mi Tv isn’t reflective of what majority of the people think, then Sadak 2 trending there is about as good as Aloo trending in her own house with her mom, dad and sister as her cheerleaders. Inconsequential to real results, numbers and figures.

Agree it's not a reflection of majority of the people, it's a subset. But its indicative of preference people have given to Sadak2 over other films. The view count would be much lesser but it definitely it's trending better than rest recently released films.

😆can you imagine the hard time I had finding one favourable sadak2 tweet😭, amidst that I found this gem of it topping chart. I think bhagwan mere saath the iss sadak par🥳

So Hotstar puts it at number 1 in the hope that someone will watch it. 😆
