LOL. This letter is a treasure trove, isn't it? It undoubtedly deserved its own topic, glad you did the honors.😆

Because people are interested in what their children will be like and whether they will have the genes of their parents, in terms of their talent. If you need another example, then take race horses. We take a derby winner, mate him with the right mate and see if we can create another grand national winner. So, in that sense, this is the relationship between genetics and star kids. Hope that’s clear?

🤣 Is he talking about himself when he says "Grand National Winner"? 😆 After spewing such an insane amount of garbage on genes and horses to flex his non-existent intellect, he asks if he made it CLEAR! Oh dear God ... and the funniest thing about this letter is I can imagine him saying all of this out loud with a serious face on in that accent. And like he really believes what he's saying and expects people to hang on to his words intently! 😆

As for the girl from Elle: I’m sorry you found words like eugenics in a conversation about nepotism misplaced. Perhaps if you got your head out of the hemline of the actress of the month and read a book, your vocabulary might improve.

So after reading his letter, I must say it's a comic masterpiece in a bit of a harmless way cuz we all know he's stupid, but this bit here was nasty and arrogant!!! Look at the way he addresses her! Perhaps if he stuck his head out of his own @$$, he would realize that he is embarrassing the heck out of himself in public by even implying that his vocab is somehow superior .... just cuz he managed to pull the word eugenics out of his rear in a completely irrelevant conversation.

This is for Saif:

Who thought it was a good idea to publish this letter?

His analogies come across very degrading and borderline racist. You can use all the fancy words you can find in a dictionary but it can’t cover up your sick mentality. 🤢

The film industry is the most fair line of work. So yes, maybe I got a chance because of my mother, but that is more genetics than nepotism. It’s a genetic investment that the producer was making.

Straight from the horse's mouth - Aristocracy, which he defines as "rule of the best". A class of people who enjoy privileges and hold high social rank because of hereditary, and that's how he defines the industry. 😆

Wait, did people think it was racist? Sorry if I just made light of it when I shouldn't have. I felt like he was just throwing up whatever "posh" words he reads in his books to sound intellectual. He definitely thinks his genes are better than others, no doubts about that.

The guy was in over his head trying to rationalize nepotism, maybe I didn't see the gravity behind his words cuz it was all a bunch of BS and he doesn't even know what he's talking about. I seem to miss the drift more often than I should. 😆

I have always called Kareena and Saif racists even before this racist letter. I can't remember where it was, but someone on this forum apparently called his films, "Urban" Only people who live in cities can understand his films. I thought that was one of the craziest defense i've heard about medicore films. Like apparently, he's huge among urban crowd. LOL. He's always been racist, esp with his jaap about how they dont watch hindi films.

And I've also read on this forum that Kareena called Bips a "kaali billi" in a very derogatory way.... it's literally like ram milaye jodi with Saif and Kareena in this case.

I wonder if people who bash Kangana everyday and call her a racist and a Nazi apologist for her sister's tweets have anything to say about Saif's "open letter" and his pathetic explanations on the exclusivity of his gene pool.

Guys, I \completely respect everyones choice to write a letter.

I personally found the article a bad PR move , on the borderline of racism, but what surpised me the most is that he said

" And to the idiot who gave the example of Arjun Kapoor for nepotism, I would just like to say that every film he has done, has worked. He should be an inspiration as an unlikely hero, not pulled down for nepotism. And that is the reason he is here. Not because of his father or uncle. It’s the audience that makes a film a hit, not the family members, otherwise all kinds of people would be ruling the roost."

I had just woken up at 2 in the night and pinched myself 2 times to see if I was dreaming.

What is he Saif smoking, Is he seriously so deluded... He could have given Ranbir Kapoors example

What an old letter, interesting to bring it up.
Years ago Saif wrote a dumb open letter which became the butt of jokes (rightfully so). But since it keeps coming up over and over again, here's what he felt about it.

At 5 mins.

better to be tone and stupid than to be a nazi supporter who is islamophobic and calling for genocide anyday 🤢
