I understand your fear as a mother but Bollywood is not the industry you want your child to look up to. Not only Bollywood, but life is rough out there. It’s pure truth.

Deja Vu of the Fardeen Khan case from years ago. Except there was no death. Even back then the dealers could've revealed all their bollywood customers so there was a lot of unrest in Bollywood.

Looks like SSR was a habitual user. Might be a drug deal gone bad. But dealers today just blackmail celebs to out them if not paid. So still could be a suicide.

If they find the dealers, half of Bollywood will be screwed. They all have lists of the Buyers. Rhea will be pressurized with a Marijuana charge(LOL) to get more information.

There's a big reason it doesn't go further - as if the drug dealers just stick to Bollywood and aren't probably supplying politicians, corporates, law enforcement, journalists etc.

Exactly. Drugs are in every sector. You just have to have a bit of money to start seeing that side of the world.

And you don't need to be so fearful of it either IMHO. Nobody forces you to drink or do drugs or anything like that. All Indian parents seem to think this is something that actually happens. It does not. You don't have to do anything you don't want to. Drugs sell themselves and are really popular on their own. They don't need to force you to take drugs 10 times for free to get you addicted so that you will pay to buy them the 11th time.

Even if you're in a party where drugs are free flowing, nobody forces you to do anything. If you're scared of drugs, just teach your kids not to take them. It doesn't make anyone a bad person for taking them either. I'd any day take Obama who openly did drugs over Trump who does not drink alcohol or do drugs.

There seems to be some sort of a misconception freely flowing around here that only the "wealthy" and "rich" do drugs. Drug addiction affects people of all socioeconomic groups and plenty of homeless people have been known to engage in substance abuse--it's not something only the "rich" and "elite" people indulge in. Substance abuse and mental illness also often co-exist and almost half the homeless people come with the dual diagnosis. If it's happening everywhere around you, you're probably mingling with the wrong crowd, not because you're "rich" or "elite" and others aren't privy to your lifestyle.

There are enough examples in the world from the donwtrodden/homeless to the rich and wealthy celebrities who have overdosed on heroin, etc. and lost their lives to make normal people shirk from it and think a hundred times before giving in to that peer pressure. I'd never try to rationalize the ubiquitous presence of drugs or egg people on to give it a shot cuz it's a slippery slope and those people who have ruined their lives cuz of drug addiction also thought they were too smart in the beginning to ever be addicted. It may start with pot till they decide they need something stronger cuz pot doesn't cut it anymore. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Good luck with putting millions in prison.

i am laughing because it’s not a big deal for me at all. I have never touched any drugs because I am simply not interested. I don’t even smoke but it would be delusional to say we should put everyone in prison for their own small use of drugs unless they forced others people to take it. Realistically it is not possible and it will never be.

plus you can only put someone in prison if you catch them in possession of drugs depending on the quantity.

Bollywood is not saint, just like Hollywood and others industries. We can play saints here but that’s it.

We don’t have to jail the users but how about strict laws and jail time for sellers and peddlers

Also is it true that the modern weed is much more potent than the weed of the past?

And it is considered the gateway drug to cocaine, heroine etc

True... As homeless population is increasing in some US major cities people say needles are everywhere esp once beautiful Sanfrancisco you have to be careful while walking down the street not only there’s human waste but needles among other trash

They are placing these homeless people in luxury hotels and many of them get evicted due to drug bust

Why is she coming out with it now? Why didn't she come out earlier? She is such a hypocrite. First it was the suicide gang, then the politicians and now the drug mafia.

The only one with a holier than thou attitude is well-known druggie Kangna. Here's one of her only unmarried exes talking about Kangu's drug habits.

On her birthday in March 2008 at The Leela, she had invited everybody that she had worked with. She said “Let’s do cocaine in the night.” I had smoked hash with her a couple of times before and didn’t like it so I said no. I remember getting into the biggest argument that night because I said no to cocaine.

she was known as druggie during her fashion days and thats was one of the main reason why she got all those druggie roles.
