A bit overrated imo but still a good read. I like her poem Tulips.

That’s okay.😊I found it very relevant even in today’s times. It was sad to see how she was trapped within a bell jar of her own design bcoz of her paradoxical thoughts. Some of the passages are so hard hitting, heartbreaking yet beautifully relatable.

Love the Fig tree passage. Its my fav part too.

Plus another passage that affected me most was the one where she describes her first electric shock. The whole description of the shock was so well written..it literally shaked me up.Very tragic.💔

I have loved many of the books by Paulo Coelha - Alchemist, Veronica decides to die, By the River Piedra I Sat down and Wept, Brida, The Zakir - Back during my Undergrad days, his books really opened up a new dimensional way to approach a situation. It opened up many horizons!

I also loved most of Dan Brown's mystery - Deception Point (my favorite), Angel's and Demons, The Da Vinci Code!

The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams

1Q84 by Haruki Murakami

Harry Potter (no preference tbh, I just grab any of the books and read. Right now it's The Order of the Phoenix)

The Ballad Of Songbirds and Snakes (the latest Hunger Games book)

The Ministry of Utmost Happiness - a gem by Arundhati Roy (her 'The God of Small Things' is fabulous too)
