She got way more than Her deserving share of accolades too then why complain about brickbats? Two sides of the same coin.

Because she is daughter of Mahesh Bhatt. Not because of Karan Johar, not because of nepotism.
She is paying heavy price for being daughter of Mahesh Bhatt.

But when she's being liked, her cameos are praised to the skies, and even awarded the filmfare for best actress, it's "audience love" doing the work with no intervening force whatsoever.

And whenever anyone points out about nepotism, she will get all arrogant about it! Atleast she can be a little bit conscious of public! But nopee. Here I have to mention Jhanvi Kapoor, that girl was actually the humble star kid.

Last but not the atleast the way she made her way upto Ranbir Kapoor! She claimed to be Katrina Kaif friend! And let's not forget the her constant blabber of having a crush on RK! Who knows!? She might have asked KJo to hook them up! And brahmastra was also one of her demands! It seems all planned! This is what made me dislike the off-screen Alia! I don't hate her, that is such a huge word! But she could be a little bit humble!

The one who benefits the most from publicity (aka Alia) gets the most amount of backlash too--like I said, it's the rule of thumb for public figures.
