The biggest reason for Saif-Kareena to be so happy together is because Saif's so chill. It's his second marriage so he really lets her be. Hrithik is quite controlling and stubborn, dont think Kareena would be able to hanlde that in the log run.

That’s the reason many actresses go for the older (not to mention richer) divorcee/widower/still married types

They seem to the happiest with them... They have had their share of young, good looking single romeos in their prime 😛

Thank God they did not end up together just like Shahid and Kareena did not end up together. They would have been an ultimate disaster.
Since this is Saif’s 2nd marriage, he has brought just the right amount of maturity in their relationship and this has in turn has brought a certain calming effect on her. I like how Saif has given her the freedom and let her be in her own space and subsequently this has only made their relationship flourish.
