I watched this just now

Pankaj Tripathi is such an underrated gem in Bollywood his performance was amazing. the best scenes in the movie were when he was present he had some amazing scenes with Gunjan (aka Janhvi)
Also Manav Vij was nice I liked his scenes with Janhvi in the plane

Janhvi is better than she was in Dhadak she looks innocent. She has improved but she is not amazing

I like the U turn the prejudiced officer took though it was a bit dramatic he was so annoying before that

Angad Bedi I like the last scene

Negatives- Regarding the gender equality it was too dramatic made the prejudiced officer and all her classmates look like bullies for most of the movie

just finished watching it right now; it was a wonderful movie, honest and heartfelt. Janhvi was really good, she is a very subtle and 'honest' actor, she will go far. Pankaj T, what a man and an actor, need more and more of him onscreen. Proud of our Gunjan and what she has been able to do for women. enjoy watching :)

Pankaj Tripathi. The name is enough! I can watch an entire movie of him being Gunjan’s dad.

Finished watching this. It's a decent watch. Very over dramatized in the portions where gender discrimination in IAF is shown. I read somewhere that the real life Gunjan Saxena said that she found people warming up to her faster than expected. It's been shown so in the movie for playing the feminism card. The climax was hilarious for me because there are a lot of inconsistencies and the war portions are fiction done badly according to me. Her army brother manages to be in the command room and all other places as if he has so much time to while away when the country is at war😆

Coming to the performances, Pankaj Tripathi stands out as usual. Jhanvi is ok, nothing exceptional. Rest of the cast is also ok.

Now something is off about this. I cry in almost every movie and cried in this one as well. But at what part of the movie one could cry their eyes out and laugh so much I don't understand.

The movie was nice. Jhanvi did well and Pankaj Tripathi is one of the best things about Bollywood.

I am wondering about the same thing. While I did cry my eyes out at multiple places(heck every time Pankaj’s character stands up for Gunjan) I am scratching my head trying to figure out where I missed the laugh out loud parts.

Edit: After thinking long and hard I remember one place where I chuckled and even laughed out loud when Pankaj’s character argues with his wife about letting Gunjan pursuing her dream. She would be like ‘app mere side ho ya uski side’? and he would be like ‘ mein is side mein hu’(showing the side of the bed that he was sitting on😆). also there was another instance when he tries to feign innocence about Gunjan’s new IAF plan in front of his wife but Gunjan ousts him when she says papa only filled the application. 😆
