i have refrained from commenting too much since last week, rather waiting for things to play out, but man, we need to stop nitpicking and looking at things in isolation and come up with conclusions.

From the evidence thus far, we can see that there were so many things that happened leading up to June 14th, We need to look the full picture, to try and understand what potentially happened.

Ankita said the siblings weren’t on speaking terms, the lawyer also said they had a falling out, but eventually they reconciled as evidenced by the letter and pap pics. So Rhea sharing chats is just one part of the puzzle.

Even it looks petty, at least she is not the one who started it. Sushant's sisters and his brother in law started sharing these screenshots portraying her as the witch. I think it's a fair thing if she also makes a move in a bid to bring more truth to the fore.

But she is not clearing anything though. Strategically posting a few messages are not clearing anything but making her look petty. And this is coming from me who has been very careful about pointing fingers without proof. By posting all this, how many people will side with her?! She's drawing more negative attention to herself as if she already didn't do that by making that pathetic video. I'm not here accusing anyone. I've been very careful about that. But what she is doing right now isn't looking to good for her. Sure, everyone has the right to post whatever they want but this isn't about practising social media rights. It's an unnecessary move for her already tarnished image. If she is innocent, fight the case head strong, prove your innocence by law and order, and then keep a press meet (without crying or acting) and leave it at that. The petty drama is unnecessary and doing her no favors.

Ok, so Sanjay Raut says that the probe reveals Sushant wasn't close to his Dad. What business does the Mumbai Police have in revealing the details of the probe to this guy before completing it? I want these questions to be asked by the CBI. Why is SS taking so much interest in this case?

Ankita's post about not being available to be bought makes sense. I'm sure she was contacted to make some statements. Trying to play the Marathi card here.

I'm just waiting for August 11th. Hope the case is handed over to CBI and a fair probe is conducted. There's too much flow of information which needs to be halted and the matter handled by an unbiased investigating agency.

• financial abuse of an "extremely mentally disturbed" patient

She should have been questioned from day one for her actions.. even if Sushant was the one to hang himself, her actions had led to his decline, taking him to some quack and prescribing him psychotropic medicines that make a previously super-fit guy into a shaky mess, and all the while she's partying it up at his place!

If the police still did not suspect anything, they were benefiting from closing the case as a suicide.

If they can say Disha's case files were deleted - while it is very much possible to recover deleted files on a computer - it is believable they are not doing their job honestly. For the record, I don't think the 2 deaths are connected. But the whole deleted file thing is shady af. Rhea could delete any incriminating chats and the police will be like - oh, it's not there, we did not find anything suspicious! Apparently, they don't have any cyber forensic expert in the force

Yep, but even his family also leaked specific parts of the chat in public domain.. So IMO both sides are leaking stuffs that help their cause. One side (family) is potraying Rhea as the witch, where as Rhea is potraying the family (or the sister in particular) as party to a crime.

I think Mumbai police not cooperating Bihar police is probably because the govt sensed that Bihar govt is trying to politicize this case.

Didn't Rhea get grilled by the police for nine hours within 4 days of the incident? So the investigation was happening...

But some things you mentioned like Sushant being medicated to the point he was sleeping most of the day or the financial abuse is still under investigation. So I will not make any comments on that... as it can be true or false.

Disha's case files being deleted was also fake news as police confirmed all the case files are on record.

Agree but @bold: the family also did the same. They strategically revealed certain parts of the chat to paint her as an evil witch. She has now started playing the same game as she probably decided that the media trial would be a lot more important than a court trial.

In my opinion, it's better to come out with an explanation to clear things out once and for all and not play these games of releasing screenshots. However, i still believe something is better than nothing at all. Her silence so far has been assumed to be a sign of guilt. So it's good she is starting to talk. Hopefully this is just the beginning and she will put more stuff in public domain.
