Sridevi said the "understand you better understand" dialogue better but Divya was very good too

With all due respect to Divya Bharti, this clip actually shows how flawless Sri was in this role. ❤️ Strange feeling that both are late actors now. 🤔

On a second thought, Divya was ok with her acting as she was just starting out. Comparing a new comer to a legend that Sri's already been by then, is not fair anyways.

Yeah I felt Sridevi had better dialogue delivery. But Divya had great natural style that I liked.

Yes, Sridevi was 30 at the time and had starred in so many movies. Divya was 18 and just starting.

Divya s voice didnot suit the character..

IMO at 18 I thought she was a better actress than many at the time. Would certainly take her over Kat, Sonam or Shraddha. She isn't as great as Sridevi though.

People use to compare her speaking style to that of an innocent kid. So yeah the character was different from her personality.

No offence but shouldn’t be any comparaison Divya just started and Sri was already a senior! Also, the role suits more to sridevi because of her maturity in her voice tone and Divya had a very inoncent baby voice!

Divya was sucha angelic looking girl she always look like a newborn baby!
