Hats off to director and Varun. My younger siblings warned me that it's a very slow & boring movie and that's when I knew it's my type

Do you like older movies? If you do, I'll recommend you good ones that you might like.

It's a lovely movie, its best part is its utmost simplicity which is so moving and heart-warming❤️

Notebook is just so so beautiful.

The warmth, the simplicity, the fuzziness.. its that kind of movie that may not be "brilliant" but you can't walk out disliking it. It just leaves you feeling good.

Yeah. Other movies which I remember giving me that fuzzy feeling of warmth are Wake Up Sid, Bareilly Ki Barfi, and English Vinglish.

Great!

Check out Junoon (1978) starring Shashi Kapoor, Nafisa Ali, Jennifer Kendall, Shabana Azmi. Not at all your typical BW movie. I would say its unique and underrated. This one, I''ll admit is slow, but it is a really really well made film (if you can get past certain scenes which are long drawn out) and a well acted and directed film.

Some others that I absolutely love and would recommend everyone to watch - Anupama, Anuradha, Anubhav [will recommend others if you have seen these]

Keep recommending this kind of cinema. Be it bolly or holly. I love "Sense & sensibility" too. Thompson was ❤️

Watch Laila Majnu if possible! It is not as smooth as October but a novel kind of experience. Also watch Remains of the Day- a great Emma Thompson film! I had a lot of fun imagining it remade in Hindi and I could only think of Big B as the butler. Watch it. Highly recommend!
