As much as I dislike Tapsee and her acting , she did speak up.

One google search resulted to countless articles and there was a huge hue and cry about it. She is also the one who told Anupama that it took her years of success to get an opportunity to be interviewed by Anupama.

In Bombay in (classes) XI and XII, nobody studies. They are only sitting and eating vada pav. I was thrown out for my attendance. I was just partying away. I am glad I was thrown out because that day, I was shaken. I was like, my father is p****d off, my mum trusted me and I f****d up. That’s when someone told me, in Yash Raj Films (YRF) they are looking for an assistant casting director. Once I started working in YRF, I realized that’s what I wanted to do. I worked very hard but I had no idea what I was doing. I was 18!

Taapsee was removed and replaced by Bhumi by the producers of PPAW (T-Series and B.R. Studios), not Karan Johar or Dharma. She has openly called out the producers for this in interviews.

By associating everything in the industry with Karan, we are taking away the negative spotlight from many other producers who engage in similar tactics.

It was a good decision in hindsight. Who the hell would cheat on taapsee with ananya? Bhumi is a plain jane and suited the role better IMO.

What I meant was when will she speak up on the Bollywood nexus which drove sushant to his death...I know she has spoken up before on her issues...you can speak up now without mudslinging. Keeping quiet under the garb of letting the dead Rest In Peace or because I don’t indulge in muddlinging is not enough. Just like she spoke up against b grade comment by kangana, she should have spoken up about Sushant’s death too and not just express sadness but actually reflect on Bollywood‘a involvement. Everyone knows it everyone can see it but no one will speak up until they don’t get hurt themselves.
