Saddest part is that we know the fate of this character from the beginning of the movie and we also know the fate of the actor
But like a loyal fan , IAM going to watch the film just like I have watched every film of his
Watched the trailer, and I didn't feel overly emotional. I think it largely has to do with the fact that I couldn't connect with the film. I've already read the book and hence, know what's going to happen in it. But more than that, everytime they talked, or referenced death, I kept thinking about Sushant. It'll be very difficult for me to separate the content of the film (which is largely focused on death), and with what has happened to him. It's not fair to the film as its own entity, but the tragedy of his death has taken over the film.

Absolutely true.. He was never appreciated much for any of his work..I always wanted him to be awarded and praised..just like Ranveer..Ranbir..Ayushmn..Vicky and to some extent RKR were.. If I could only see this praise after him dying.. I would chose him being alive..
Tbh if he was alive, the trailer would have got butchered by the critics as a lot of people I know feel that the trailer doesn't live up to the expectations of FIOS. This movie looks similar to Katti Batti which was a massive flop.
I just hope this movie does well but knowing BW, the girl is gonna run away with all the adulations and will get more roles even though we know that SSR's mental health was probably triggered by Sanjana's false accusations.
Its a tough watch....the trailer got me all messy, you know that knot at the base of your throat that makes it difficult to breath...thats there.
One last time, but anything for my Mansoor ❤️. Hope you smile at the irony from up above Sushant 💔. You truly got the Kafka life.

And that's how they are marketing it. Tbh it won't really matter even if it becomes most watched movie on ott. As a film I know it's not going to be great but I hope it is decent enough goodbye to Sush. He signed this film just to fulfill his promise to his friend.
Also if people really want to celebrate Sush watch his underrated films like Sonchiriya and Detective Byomkesh Bakshi and Kai po Che that will be a true tribute to him❤

That's what I've been saying. The trailer was okish not great. Many people don't even see the chemistry between the lead roles. I think Chhichhore is still the best movie of SSR and a fitting goodbye to him as it was a feel-good movie whereas this movie is just depressing and a complete carbon copy of another movie and novel. I think this movie should just have been shelved due to the BTS and post-production issues. Can't like Sanjana at all.
That is an Youtube technical issue, likes are counted and shown instantly, for actual numbers of views it takes time to show.
