They seem to have added a lot of masala to the film, but wo to karna hi padega, the whole film cannot be limited to one thing. Just hope its not over the top.

If its been edited well without stretching the film unnecessarily, it should be a good 2 hour time pass.

😆Well, no one is screaming in here, at least to me, everyone is just giving his/her opinions on what they liked/did not like about the trailer.

Shakuntala Devi was not a mathematician though, she was a super-brain in math calculations and could do it faster in milli-seconds. Sometimes she was too fast for the people trying to verify her answers. As a personality and the way she led her life was rich in many facets, which would make an amazing story at the hands of right writer-director-actor combo. In the trailer, I did not see it translate across the screen, just the typical loud hindi filmy drama, reducing her to a caricature. Let's hope the movie has some surprises that proves me wrong.

They could’ve showed her as an interesting, colorful, fun loving personality without making her a caricature

Vidya acting vacting sab bhool gayi aisa lag raha hai. And the trailer is horrible. It's like a parody.

They could've done it the proper way. I watched Kramer vs Kramer today. Why does no one make films like that anymore? I mean you've got plenty of story...Why the need to grotesquely caricaturize everything?

I mean...just look at the white guys interviewing her....like housefull movie types. It's like a big joke...yes a big joke dressed as a movie...And not a funny one either.

Also bollywood trailers in general are much more dramatic than the actual film mainly to reach to the masses and grab more eyeballs, the reason why they tend to add comic/dramatic elements in the trailer to pull more audience. Also this might actually attract more young audience who otherwise would get bored if it was a very serious trailer. I have full faith in Vidya as her film choices are always to the point and also I think no one in their right mind would present such a famous personality as a caricature esp in the age of social media and when the film has been made taking her family's consent. I'm actually interested to see her personal life and conflict more than the maths part since that's anyways available on youtube. Eagerly waiting for the film to see the side of Shakunatala Devi that we don't know till now :)
