Deepika would have towered over Aamir badly, but then Kat is tall too, so I don't get the math behind this swap.

At least it was a blessing in disguise for Deepika. YJHD did more favors for her than dumb Dhoom 3 ever did for Katrina.

A big part of why YJHD worked was because of Ranbir and Deepika's notorious breakup and the onscreen chemistry caused by that subtextual tension. Ranbir-Kat combo would have never been able to create a movie like YJHD with songs like Delhi wali girlfriend or balam pichkari or dialogues like "Mujhe tumse pyar hojayega, phir se" or the DDLJ imitation in the beginning of the trip. The key ingredients would just be lost with Kat in that movie.

We have to disagree. They wouldve done great job like they did with superhit apkgk.

Rk dp flopped with tamasha too. Its all about good story and decent direction. If yjhd was a bore, it would've flopped like tamasha. No sexual tension would've saved it.

Lol all those songs and scenes, kat would've done the same job. Like when she gave first proper hit to rk. She didn't get lost there. But ofcourse someone who dislikes her, will say it! You only discredit her every time. Not worth arguing with you!

So true. But then unfortunately, this movie did nothing for Katrina as a serious performer and further solidified her item girl persona. I was so disappointed, I expected some hardcore action scenes with Katrina.
