Once again when SRK came into the industry nepotism was not as prevalent as it is now. Star kids would get launched after that they would be on their own. Karan took nepotism to new heights to make Alia happen. Yes, SRK buys awards. Once again proving award functions are corrupted and don't give awards based on merit.

Because they should not be corrupt. They should be given on merit and talent. And if they were Sushant should have rightly received them. Aamir, Manoj Bajpai don't attend award functions as a way of protest. Yes because I don't like Alia there is nothing valid from my side. Of course I am sure you are convinced people can't dislike Alia for valid reasons. I am sure in your head all the valid points are on your end.

Dharmendra & Rishi Kapoor never won Best Actor's award in their whole career, it didn't start with Alia. Yes, you can hate alia, anyone can do that, their choice but it won't make valid points in the current controversy.

You are acting naive or didnt read any posts on this forum...No one talked abt SOTY...ppl talk abt wht happened after SOTY...kjo and Ranbir calling up Imtiaz to cast Alia in Highway as soon as they got to know there is a script...Imtiaz wasnt convinced...who will be after her horrific performance in SOTY..But kjo wont budge...Just like that from Shandaar to Raazi to Dear Zindagi, the directors will have someone else on mid...But kjo makes a call for Alia and agrees to produce the movie or even rallies up his friends to produce..Coz Vikas/Meghna/Gauri won critical acclaim..he makes sure ONLY Alia gets to work with best..who can forget Udta Punjab...Parineeti was the selected one but Kjo offered her one movie with Ranbir..Parineeti drops out of UP and Alia takes over..Later Kjo shelves Pari's movie and announces Brahmastra...Kjo checking with Zoya from time to time and makes sure ALIA WONT GET A raw deal in Gully Boy..God knows how many more..

dont even get me started on her personal life shenanigans...using Varun for PR and almost breaking his relation with Natasha...Using Sid as trophy bf to be in news..faking as Kat's bestie to woo RK...finally kjo convincing Neetu she is the right girl for RK after Rankat breakup...never in history of bollywood,there's been a more cunning duo...Dunno about others but these two shall soon face their karma...no two thoughts about it
