Why was Sushant never invited to KWK? - Page 2

Guys, I am not saying KWK is the Oscars lol..I know, it is not a milestone to be invited on that show..but, I am talking in context here. That show has been running for years and we know what that show has done and can do. We all watch it for a reason too. I think many young actors also want to be called on certain shows and platforms because it supports the notion that you have arrived or perhaps are acknowledged. Not to mention, it is run by KJo.

I think the show also hypes actors up, especially on social media. In some ways, it also serves as additional PR. I was not a Sushant fan, but I watched a lot of KWK. I hardly knew much about Sushant, but I did ardently watch this show, and would have perhaps given Sushant's appearance a shot too...perhaps that would have led more people to probe into his work? or into his off-screen persona? Suddenly we are all now discovering who Sushant was,..and quite frankly, this guy was barely there on the platforms that gave many others some spotlight.

He was never invited because he didn’t want to invite him. Funny thing is that when Sidharth, Aditya would give flops he would still invite them and say they are in a low phase and hype them up.

He has never invited taapsee too. Who is doing extremely well. Parineeti has always been invited but when she flopped she wasn’t invited either. Ayushmann wasn’t invited until he gave back to back hit.

He picks and chooses. if someone is doing bad at the bo, he will invite them as long as it’s someone he wants to see successful. The rest he could care less.

Shraddha is the only smart one, she willingly would not attend the show.

KJo said since the beginning that KwK was created as a show where he invites his friends and they can have fun like they do in their living rooms. Viewers would get that inner glimpse of the industry and that's why people watched it. They liked it when accidental tea came out or personal anecdotes appeared that never would on other shows.

He basically invites his friends or people he has some kind of connection to. Sushant didn't have that with him and I don't think he worked hard to enter that crew like Ayushmann, Vicky, and Rajkumar Rao have done.

Nobody is required to validate or acknowledge Sushant. It's nobody else's responsibility. Outsiders like Kriti and Tapsee get a LOT of attention whether they come on KwK or not because they make sure their PR works hard. Maybe Sushant just liked a quieter media machine and didn't want to do a lot of hype.
