Why was Sushant never invited to KWK?

I am stumped on this.

If we are going to say there was no mean girls situation or whatever else going on in Bollywood, how on earth was Sushant NEVER invited on KWK by Karan Johar?

You have Arjun Kapoor, the nobodies from SOTY, Sara Ali Khan, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Twinkle Khanna and other irrelevant folks being invited, yet Sushant was never invited? Not to mention, he was discussed many times directly or indirectly in many episodes through those rapid fire questions, but I find it mind boggling that Karan never invited Sushant on his show.

When does he ever invite any one other than those 5 or 6 people from the industry?

Karan never liked Sushant.

He was never invited because he didn’t want to invite him. Funny thing is that when Sidharth, Aditya would give flops he would still invite them and say they are in a low phase and hype them up.

He has never invited taapsee too. Who is doing extremely well. Parineeti has always been invited but when she flopped she wasn’t invited either. Ayushmann wasn’t invited until he gave back to back hit.

He picks and chooses. if someone is doing bad at the bo, he will invite them as long as it’s someone he wants to see successful. The rest he could care less.

Shraddha is the only smart one, she willingly would not attend the show.

If you highlight it like getting invited to KWK as some kind of achievement then, KJo gets more power to exploit and push his agenda. No wonder why outsiders do everything to get into that toxic cycle. We should be responsible too.

He started inviting more people in the past two seasons or so, and many irrelevant ones. However, Sushant was never one of them. It is strange in context.

I guess my point is someone who is relevant and is doing well for himself, in theory, should have been invited..but never was. Not that KWK is the Academy Awards or so, but I still feel it supports the concept that there has been a mean girls culture prevalent within this industry towards people for whatever reason.

I think therein lies the problem, the fact that he wasn't to KWK of all things is a big issue. Like, is it the Oscars or something?

Maybe he himself didn’t wanna go? KWK isn’t that important, You guys are making it .

Somehow, Sushant reminds kjo of srk I guess. Kjo knows TV fans are loyal. It is just matter of time Sushant becomes next srk. Maybe not just like srk bcuz boy he is smart and shrewd. I think kjo fell out of srk, but unable to do anything to damage him seriously so he took it out on Sushant. I can say that kjo never wanted another TV actor become successful. Sushant just in wrong place at wrong time and everything else is history. Sushant is smart just like srk but I wish he was shrewd too.
