They said he was suffering from schizophrenia. Depression & Schizophrenia go hand in hand. Sushant himself has claimed he only sleeps 2 hrs a day in an interview with Anupama Chopra.

Sushants untimely & sad demise could've been used to educate the highly ignorant Indian society on mental illness but even that has been made into a circus by vultures furthuring their agenda, mainly against nepotism.

The man was distressed, he needed help. 34 year old men without any mental illness dont take their lives because they're broke or they cant fit in among a clique-y group.

@bold One major characteristic of schizophrenia is psychosis - a state whereby you have trouble differentiating what's real from what isn't real; there's some sort of cleavage. Which is why people who suffer from schizophrenia have hallucinations, hear voices that aren't actually there etc. They did basically call him psychotic.

And no, depression and schizophrenia are two very different things (even though you can have both at the same time). Schizophrenia is a psychiatric condition, it can be controlled through regular medication intake. Depression can be treated through therapy as well. Those people are diagnosing him with something else completely for their convenience

This is major misinformation. Depression and schizophrenia do not go hand in hand at all. These are two completely different mental illnesses which may or may not overlap. They don't have a definite link to each other. Only about 25-30% percent of schizophrenic people are diagnosed with depression. In fact, most cases of schizophrenia are misdiagnosed as Bipolar Disorder or depression and later the diagnosis is changed as more symptoms come out.

The Police said Sushant had depression and had meds for it. That's it. Sushant may very well have schizophrenia but until and unless the police say so or Mahesh Bhatt/Rhea can prove it through medical records, there is no need to believe that. It should remain a false narrative.

Bold : You are Ignorant about the Pain he went through which is Evident mostly in his interviews in the past 2 years. Also you r ignorant to not even Know about the Difference between the two things and claiming how 'vultures' r using it for calling out 'nepotism'.

I will suggest you go through Abhishek Kapoor's interview to know y exactly we the vultres are so angry towards Nepotism.

They won't call out and that is exactly why people are angry. They won't say a word.

At least forum members here in IF. All of us condemned it and dissed it . But not a single person from the camps, spoke even a line about it.

He said this with such ease, non hesitancy like he knew everything that was going on.

How quick are some to label him with some mental illness.

He is getting lot of hate on twitter on his recent tweets but he doesn't seem to care. In fact Bhatts thrives under negativity as long as they are given any sort of attention. They are such a revolting family with zero integrity or morals. Absolutely hate these cunning, disgusting Bhatts. They don't have any shame or principals. A young man lost his battle with himself, a father lost his precious son, fans lost someone who was inspirational yet this man whose own daughter battles mental illness is doing this cheap show!

It's shameful that the bandwagon who jumps on a select few will maintain silence when a member of their fraternity is quick to label another member of their fraternity who died, from "schizophrenia" and that he was troubled and his mind was not "ok".

No condemnation came from any of the film fraternity on this....
