I have never followed much of Sushant's work or interviews, but whenever I heard him speak, I always felt that he perhaps wasn't as articulate as some of his peers? His thoughts would come across as scattered at times and sometimes it felt as if he might be trying extra hard while talking in English? Looking back now, wow..it just seems all different and personally, it makes me sad. Now I see someone who perhaps struggled with anxiety..because often times when you're anxious, you end up overcompensating your sentences because in your mind, you feel you might not be making sense to others around you. I sometimes find myself doing that, and suddenly am seeing that in Sushant while watching some of his interviews.

I remember watching the 2016 round table with Sushant, Ranbir, Diljeet, AB and Shahid..and I felt Sushant was being sidelined. For some reason, I thought of the round table again yesterday and forwarded to Sushant's parts within that video, and noticed how no one was really acknowledging him. Ranbir for some reason seemed to show complete disinterest in anything Sushant said - and watching it now, he seemed batshit rude at some points. I noticed this then but it just hits differently re-watching it today. There was only one comment where AB asked Sushant how he hit the last shot in the film, Dhoni..to which Sushant excitedly said he watched Dhoni's clip of it 100x. Otherwise, NONE of the others even faked showing any interest in Sushant's film or body of work. Sushant on the other hand was trying his best to stay positive.

He also made this one comment about how he doesn't like pretentious people and suddenly looked to his left at Ranbir, who was slouching on his chair barely showing interest. Point is...if his peers can't even fake interest on national tv for a fellow peer sitting right next to them, can't imagine what their behavior was off-screen. I do believe this fraternity did not treat him right. I do believe they tried taking advantage of how he was "different." I wasn't a Sushant fan, but I have been really disturbed by this since the news broke. RIP Sushant.

Ouch man. This is painful to read.

You are right...Anxiety does that to your speech...I have a nephew who is Autistic...He is super intelligent with a very high IQ but cannot articulate what he wants to say in a simple sentence and ends up driving people away...He is 8 now and often cries about not having friends...That’s why I have always understood what SSR must be going through...Believe you me, I have followed his journey right from its inception and he was a much more confident person then...The cutthroat environment of Bollywood can do that to the best of the people, what’s a small town starry eyed lad!

You're right, Shekar said it too that there was this restlessness and innocence in Sushant, like a very excited child. I think people cannot relate with genuinely innocent people and that's why they consider them weird and odd. I feel really sad thinking of how people treated him like he wasn't worth anything.

I have only heard positive things about him from his directly costars like Shraddha Kirti Sara Sanjana. The bullying and blinds on social media are utter rubbish and like Kriti said it should be banned

I just remembered how they wouldn’t stop speaking about Kareena’s brief Harvard/Oxford stint...How come SSR’s stint with Astro Physics and Quantam Physics was hidden from us? If anything the tabloids used to make fun of his interest in stars and moon as some weird hobby...

This says it ALL!

And many of us are proof enough how PR and blinds can shape the image of a person who he or she may not be!

I mean I grew up watching Sushant on TV like many of us right from his very 1st show KDHMD to PR to JDJ right to his jump to BW!

I kinda lost the connect once he entered BW only to find it back through Dhoni!

But after Dhoni, the blinds, the rumors started targeting him which to an extent also made me believe may be the guy has changed, who knows! Last blow was the MeToo allegation and then it was hard to give him a benefit of a doubt with how the entire shenanigans was orchestrated. Only to realize now there may not have been any truth to it!

It does piss you off more how media, rival PRs and blinds start influencing you even after being repeatedly hammered about the same! 100s lies becomes the truth scenario ditto!

I feel a lot of anger also comes from this very fact how the bigwigs had no ounce of guilt or regret and kept shamelessly going after their targets!

I kinda started picking up on this brainwashing when Sara was given ALL the limelight yet her image was nothing but a well put together PR machinery. Also when I questioned why Chichhore didn't get the same hype when it crossed 100cr while 60 70cr star kids movies were lauded as best thing since sliced bread! The cornering and neglect started since Dhoni and it has ended with his death! Sigh!

One of the reasons I am done with many of these BW biggies and their untalented minions!

Reason I liked watching RK was his talent as an actor but now it's hard to see him in the same light given his contribution to the very toxic system of blinds! Not a fan anymore and regret blind siding his off screen antics. Numerous blinds against his rivals, his ex GFs through his mouthpiece isn't something I can personally neglect anymore!

It isn't just a one person drill!

The clique aka the gatekeepers aka the mean gang isn't going to evoke any sympathy from me anymore!

I mean it doesn't need any concrete proof. Anyone who isn't blind sided can put 2 and 2 together and see how toxic our BW industry has become with very one sided power dynamics! Hence surprised how anyone can even defend these BW biggies for the consequences they should be facing, guess they are also part of the problem!

Same. I liked Ranbir but after seeing that roundtable thing and the comments... ouch. People, even Ranbir fans in the past when it was posted were talking about how uninterested Ranbir was with whatever Sushant was saying. I don't know why he had to ignore him like that and be so disrespectful to his colleague, Sushant seemed to be trying so hard to bond with Ranbir and it's sad to see.

IMHO this might be rude! But it’s insult to both Harvard and Oxford to have a bimbo of that level associated with them!
