Depression is far more common and untreated in India than many people know. I can post articles here. If this is what not taking antidepressants leads to than why aren’t there more cases of schizophrenia? Just because you have a mental ailment doesn’t make anyone crazy or more likely to become crazy ? What their alluding to is why so many people are scared to tell others that they have depression. Heck my mother tells me off for speaking about it because she doesn’t want people making stories about me. In fact antidepressants actually don’t treat the symptoms they just cover them while your on the medication. For permanent alleviation one should seek counseling.

Sushant was diagnosed by a professional. He had prescribed meds therefore if he did suffer from psychosis, schizophrenia or literally anything else, everything would be on his medical records. Hopefully the police can investigate and find out.

Bhatts should mind their own business and stay out of it. This linking things up with Parveen Babi is downright pathetic and hence its rightfully coming off as publicity hungry. It's like they get off talking about her and her 'sadness' and now have found another actor to associate it with. They can f*ck right off.

Rhea is a grown ass woman. Let Rhea say her own piece and not release articles like this that would be strictly used to paint him as 'crazy' and how the others even with their big hearts of understanding had no choice but to abandon him.

If the family is making accusations, Rhea can just ask the Police to take a look at the medical records themselves. Once that's done, there would be nothing to defame her with. But these articles involving other people and their versions of Sushant and his mental illness are incredibly insensitive and vicious.

Let the departed go in peace.God.Vultures.

Might be true , might not be.How is it fair to spread this news now when he's not even cremated. There has got to be a time and place for every thing.

This is awful. Sources say he had depression and was seeking help for that. To twist it into a very, very severe illness like schizophrenia when the person isn't here to defend himself is crass and inhumane. Schizophrenia requires you to stay in a psychiatric ward and don't you think he would have been put into one if he was seeking help and media would have found out about it. All they said is he was depressed and seeking help for that. It's just terrible to paint him as crazy and scary to justify why you abandoned Sushant like that

Why talk about him like this when he's longer here to say his piece and how he felt. Someone's descent into paranoia and depression especially the lowest moments of someone's life shouldn't be discussed as an afterthought and to justify and pacify the guilt of the living. Leave him alone. If you chose to leave him alone when he was alive then respect him enough to leave him alone now. Let him rest easy.

So much this. How difficult is to maintain a dignified silence.

I so dislike how this article makes it seem like that there was no helping Sushant and seems to blame him for his illness.

It is a cruel, callous world.

U can hear voices even in depression specially when its deep melancholic depression if at all he was hearing voices. 🤦🏻‍♀️ So its not necessarily schizophrenia. I am a doctor and that's the reason i chose to comment.

What's with these sudden articles anyway? Police is still investigating.

Also its not that easy to diagnose schizophrenia just like it is not easy to diagnose depression.
