And all she needs to do is ask the police to check his medical records and then they can make the statement themselves and talk to his family to prevent any further defamation. He was getting help and had prescribed meds. So surely diagnosis was done and if he indeed had schizophrenia or suffered from psychosis to the point that he was hearing voices, that would on his record. There's literally no need for this extra masala and talk of his descent to paranoia. And surely Bhatts don't need to get involved in this at all.

dont you think there wouldve been more visibility of such incidences or more news about it if it was true........he is an actor, constantly under public scrutiny...... last year he finished a movie....wouldnt people talk about it more if he was really that far gone ??

It depends on how severe it was. It's possible his condition got worse during the lockdown but he was managing okay before it. He was on meds and seeing a doctor so if he was taking them, he should have been pretty okay. If he stopped taking them recently, it could spiral out of control.

There are levels in schizophrenia - some people have mild cases, some more severe. In the case of my friend, she seemed very normal if you met her for an hour - maybe you might think she's a bit odd but you wouldn't suspect illness, just a slightly strange personality. It's when you spent all day with her or knew her well that she would start sharing all her insane thoughts and stories. Even so, she was not the sort of "crazy" portrayed in movies. I remember incidents like if we went on the train together and you sat next to her like you normally would, she would start complaining why you are sitting next to her, why you can't just leave her alone, what's wrong with you, go sit somewhere else.. oddball behavior in everyday circumstances.
