No one, no star is bigger then their films..all superstars have given biggest of flops..flops dont define their stardom, hits do..Ranbir is no different.

In 2013 he was on cusp for sure but His stardom isn’t doing well as last few years apart from Sanju. An that’s not me being mean that’s literally just what is happening. 20/30 Crore Failures and long gaps have hurt him. Salman is giving 100 Crore films.

The one who is going down really fast is Salman, look at his last 4-5 films all flops yea u can use the term underperformed to make it more palatable. I wouldnt have brought Salman in this if u didnt mention box office cos for me flops dont define stardom, hits do..Salman has given huge no of flops and hits, and thats the way it is for all superstars be it Amitabh, Rajesh khanna or the khans..its the consistency and longevity that counts...

Hits and flops are part of any actors career.

Yeah and his ranking is higher than Ranbir. But it’s Not about about Salman. It’s literally about why people look at Ranbirs box office ranking as low. Because it has been low. An its not as if he is in 100th place. I’ll say only really say 5/6 heroes are doing better. An it isn’t just my feeling if this whole topic was made on it. It’s seems consensus 😂 But he’s not in that group or just below them. Maybe tomorrow would be a new tale.

I think Ranbir is a phenomenal actor. He doesn't overdo it and when I see him on screen, I don't see an actor, I only see a character. I personally think hes a great actor and knows his craft well.

There is a reason why many actresses want to be his heroine. Alia, Deepika, PC, Anushka, Ash, Kalki, Shradhha and even the new lot like Sara, Nushrat and Tara have said they'd love to work with him.

Since u mentioned Besharam vs Padmavat....this is how it was...

Besharam was a trash masala movie....with an unknown new actress in the lead..no popular director...it pissed off both Salman and SRK fans right from the trailer itself😆 and the trailer got such negative reviews from all the critics...remember it came wayyy back in 2013......Ranbir opened it SOLO a whooping 20 cr..👏

Coming back to Padmavat....coming on the heels of Ram Leela , Baji Rao...the celebrated director SLB and a mastermind who created a PR drama for one full year.....the hit nautanki pair of Deepu-Veeru ...and it comes full 5 years later....all hyped up by Karni sena and what not...and if remember it opened at 18 cr shayad......imagine...the one year nautanki...the nautanki trio SLB, Deepu and Veeru ...the nautanki karni sena...and the ticket prices and everything...due to inflation and it still opens less than Biru's shit...🤣🤣
