Bobby Deol's Humraaz: A pretty good watch - Page 3

I really enjoyed this movie! I think apart from Gadar, Amisha looked her absolute prettiest in Humraaz. I remember heaving from second hand embarrassment during the scene when Amisha starts dancing and posing in front of the mirror (unaware that Bobby can see everything) 🤣

My memory is also fixated on her manly shout when it was presumed that the hired hitman killed her. She literally roared ARGH - Made me cringe. BUT HEY at least when she was panting like an asthmatic, it was justified this time? 😆

That's actually a good observation and I'm trying really hard to recall if it was planned. I assumed that Akshay began to hatch the plan when he noticed Bobby staring at Amisha while she was swimming in the pool (right after the mirror scene). He looked so enamour by her and I think that is when Akshay used it to his advantage. I may be wrong though and if I am than Amisha's character would prove to be even more grossly manipulative.

Nope. Akshaye had plans all along. His reason to join Bobby’s cruise as a dance team was to trap Bobby. It’s shown in the beginning itself Akshaye collecting all info about Bobby.. his interviews, his likes dislikes etc. Bobby had said in an interview he doesn’t care about rich girl but want to marry a girl with a good heart or something. Akshaye is so focused on getting onTo Bobby’s cruise that he even kills opponent dance troup dude JoJo who was an obstacle.

It was a good thriller..and Bobby acted well..but Akshaye Khanna was mindblowing..Deewangee had released in the same year as Humraaz..hence Ajay dominated the best villain award..but I really thought Akshaye Khanna should have won that..he was so soo vile and good at being vile in this movie

Akshaye was such a brilliant actor its a shame he dint achieve more fame and success back then..but when I look back at all of his performances now..I cant help but fawn over him..he was quite good looking too back then..but now 😒 after I saw him in the roundtable..something is terribly wrong with him..he looks zoned out and mentally imbalanced..or was it just me?

Ohh my memory is starting to put the pieces together now. Yes that actually makes sense. He was so desperate to perform on the cruise that he had even killed the competitor. Ultimately, Amisha’s character was simply a gold digger, except she shared the same gold digging dream with her boyfriend 😳
