No its not...the pronunciation excuse can be given for English ...because English is a weird language in the first place but Hindi and Urdu both are pronounced exactly the way they are written...no room for imagination in Hindi/Urdu...so no excuses apply😆..I am sure that the other Indian languages that are based on the Devnagri lipi also cannot be pronounced any differently than how they are written but since I don't know them , I can't say for sure...English language has that luxury where we can pronounce a name whatever way we want but not Hindi/Urdu.
and before someone jumps on me and says that I am glorifying Hindi/Urdu....no I am not...I do not care for any language....not even my mother tongue Hindi...all I am saying is that the TM is right....There are no two ways of pronouncing words in Hindi/Urdu...that pronunciation doesn't matter in day to day life..I agree with that....as long as you understand what the other person is saying...who cares....but when a language is used for the art of writing lyrics or singing...the pronunciation should be correct....art and day to day life are different...the former needs perfection...the latter...well all of us are imperfect...so who cares..as long as u get the meaning..😆
