You may not notice the difference because you may not differentiate between ख and ख़ and that's perfectly alright! 😊

I love this song and I suppose it was sung as ‘‘nameedanam’ because it rhymed better with Janam. I don’t think they mispronounced this but rather did it on purpose for the sake of rhyming (sounding better) 😆

Oh lord 😆. I didn't even PICK that up because the pronunciation was SO off. Thanks to you, now I realised he was saying nameedanam as well. It's the curse of the Janam word 😳

In Urdu script the maatra (zer zabar etc) are not always mentioned. My personal theory is that the author read this word somewhere, and had no reference to the pronunciation. So they "assumed" it as nameedanam. I could be completely wrong.

Devnagari script is better because it is always pronounced EXACTLY as it's written.

That could be a correct assumption. I just realised it's not even namedoonam but NEMIDOONAM. So it's 'neh' not 'nah'. You'd think they would do some research about pronunciation before incorporating the word into the song though 😆. But yes the zer zabar can get confusing and throw people off.
