Among men, the highest acceptance for this form of domestic abuse was in Telangana. The survey found 75 per cent men in the state thought it was justified to beat their spouses.

while 52 per cent of women surveyed believe it is reasonable for a husband to beat his wife, only 42 per cent of men agree with it.

with the highest agreement among women recorded both in Telangana and Manipur (84 per cent) and the lowest in Sikkim (17 per cent).

survey also says that of the respondents, Christian men and women justified physical abuse the most among religious groups

Highest violence toward women in decreasing order

Manipur>andra prades > bihar>TN>MP>bengal>maharastra

First read what u wrote

facts says 42% husband in India think "its ok to HIT wife" and most of them are from Punjab and Haryana

You are selling sterotype that punjab and haryana are the most aggressive types , they are not even in top 5 when it come to it.

Obviously it doens't matter if they are below or up , but these propaganda of Haryana and punjabi are uncoouth and bengali , South States are better should be called out.

You are literally doing what the topic is about , buying and selling stereotypes

I am just stating the facts and this is what came out from domestic violence complaints,

Geeta Phogat also said how people of Haryana make domestic work compulsory for girls

I am not buying and selling stereotypes if that so I would go for their Drug story which i dont believe but the aggression story might be true coz of their basic male dominance mentality

The way they show south Indians was always a sore point for me in Hindi movies.

for eg: A Madrasi has to be dark, wear a lungi with a weird accent.

In Padosan, the Ek chatur song was so "racist" with terms like yeh Kaale, and making jokes on his color was too much

Even in Ra one, the first SRK was shown to be a south Indian, and he was shown stuffing curd rice/Yoghurt rice with his hands ...those are just too much

One more song was that Shashi Kapoor-Rekha song

It's improving and I am happy about it. But those were the times, also all south Indians were labelled "Madrasis" which was a grave injustice to other South Indian states
