Name successful actors not insiders from 90s.. only Shahrukh and Akshay.. no one else.. ... Not a single one.. nepotism has always been there.. it's just being talked about more now

I agree it's talked about more now...because of social media.
Whether its stronger then or now, only time will tell.
We did see the complete audience rejection of certain nepotistic products also.
It might be that actors/producers of the 80s and 90s now have their kids debuting so it’s glaringly obvious for us 90s gang
back in the 80s and 90s / early 2000 we did have sons of 70s actors / technicians like rishi, sunny deol Bobby deol Akshay Khanna, hrithik , abhishek, kajol, Ajay Devgan, Rani, lolo all in the movies

Lolo is one example where being a star kid/grandkid was what exactly worked against her. She didn't have the support of the Kapoor family, and as Bebo said, it was because Raj Kapoor had passed away. She took up roles in C-grade movies and worked her way to the top. She did not have any big banners behind her either.
Nobody from the inside even thought Hrithik would be a big star. It was only after his success, with the public getting behind him, that made others take notice. He had small roles in other movies like Fiza and Yaadein, which were extended later on. KJo even says that there was some animosity towards him from SRK on the sets of K3G.
Edit: What I mean to say is that, the star kids had to work hard to achieve something then. The playing field was also more even, you even had outsiders making their mark. Now, it's completely one sided.
I would only hope that all this conversation with nepotism and social media would discourage these star kids from coming into bollywood but doesnt seem it does. They know they will get trolled and ask hundreds of questions on nepotism but that doesnt seem to dissuade them.
They will not even consider another career or think should I do this if I am not good at it but will say I am blessed to get this opportunity I love it too much why should I give it up.

However, on the flip side. Here is a simple logic:
If the field is a profit-driven venture, then the inept will be eliminated with time. It can take three or thirty movies, but they will have to vacate the playfield without leaving any mark on the audience or the craft. The user decides the fate of entertainers, and nobody wants to pay for shitty performances religiously.
It's not as simple as that though. There is something called supplier-induced demand, where you can be persuaded to like someone through elaborate marketing. Starkids have access to the best director/producer to give them the best role in the most high-profile movie, best makeup artist and stylist to make them look good etc. An outsider often have to struggle to get even a b-grade movie due to lack of connection.

Abhishek Bachchan, Tushar Kapoor, Uday Chopra, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Mimoh Chakraborty, Asmit Patel, Jacky Bhagnani, Harman Baweja, Bobby Deol, Rajiv Kapoor, Zayed Khan, Shadaab Khan, Tanisha Mukherji, Sikander Kher, and Rahul Roy.
They are sons/daughters of prominent figures in Bollywood that gave them an extra edge to easily grab lead roles in several movies. However, they all disappeared like shooting stars.
The fact remains that they are popular enough for you to remember them. Trust me, Uday Chopra wouldn't have even lasted 2 films, let alone get appearance in big films. Tushar wouldn't even pass the audition test. The fact that people remember them should tell you that nepotism did help them. Pretty sure they get a decent paycheck from whatever film they have done -- people with their appearance wouldn't even get a normal job, let alone star in decent Bollywood movie. Only reason they got that was because of nepotism.
Nepotism doesn't mean only starkids will survive and outsiders will flop. It means that starkids get an easier access and better opportunities while outsiders have to struggle a hell lot more. That Tushar Kapoor is even a known name is because of nepotism, or else he wouldn't even have passed his first audition..

Wrong. There were many successful actresses. I dont remember names but there were many male actors as well. Males were not successful but females were. Look at PC, DP, Preiry, Ash , Madz list goes on. Even Divya, then Sush, Mirza , Bips..
Look at now. Industry deals are changed. Now they dont only take who they want, they monopolize all other films too. When ever some promising new director delivers a movie, they go after such people and book them for the movies with nepo kids. They controlled endorsements, cover pages and award show acts. Not only that, then if sti dome big is happening with an outsider they try to defund that. Also target them through fake blinds.
It's completely changed.
