I was wondering yeh US ki kaun si city hai jo Slavic countries ke city jaisi dikhti hai... then I found it was shot in Kiev, Ukraine. Isn't Ukrain always under one crisis after another? How do they maintain such big establishments?

Most of these sites were built during Russian Empire. Ukraine was one of the richest states of Russia. And their crisis are mainly created by Russia. Russia can't still let go. One of the best things about Europe is that they are always dedicated to restore their historic and cultural sites. Even during WWII, most of the historic and cultural sites in Berlin were not damaged, same goes for Warsaw, Polland. Even many abandoned sites in Soviet Russia are huge and grand. From whatever I have seen from travel channels, most of the Eastern European countries are really beautiful regardless of their poor socioeconomic conditions. Contrary to that, most of the Middle East countries are losing their cultural and historic buildings due to their continuous crisis.

There are a few accounts on Twitter and Instagram they post pics of abandoned places. I feel depressed whenever I see the big historic sites now dilapidated. The bigger the establishment more depressed I get... then finally I unfollowed those accounts.
