The cast and director of epics, Ramayan and Mahabharata

Amid coronavirus outbreak and 21-day lockdown in India, the government has decided to re-telecast the mythological serial of the 80s- Ramayana and Mahabharat.

If the epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata are made into film series which actors from the film industry would make a perfect cast for the iconic characters.

Ramayana :-

Ram,Sita,Hanuman,Lakshman,Ravana

Mahabharata :-

Krishna, Bishma, Pandavas,Draupadi,Karna, Duryodhan, Dushasan,Shakuni

Ramayana and Mahabharata :-

director - Rajamouli

Ramayana :-

Ram - Rajkumaar Rao, Sita - Kiara, Hanuman - Vidyut Lakshman - Karthik, Ravana - Vicky

Mahabharata :-

Krishna - R Madhavan ; Bhishma - KK Menon ;Pandavas -Ayushmaan,Vidyut,Ranbir,Varun,Karthik ; Draupadi - Deepika ; Duryodhan - Ranveer ; Karna - Vicky ; Dushasan - Sid Chaturvedi ; Shakuni - Ashutosh Rana ; Didrashtra - Anil; Gandhari - Shefali Shah ; Pandu - Ronit Roy; Kunti - Revati

Mahabharata Meets Bollywood: The Most Epic Cast Ever

Unless Marvel studios produce Mahabharata it would be better Bollywood refrains from making it.

No Bollywood, no Marvel. Both suck. Esp for Mahabharata.

Rajamouli probably could do it, but the social milieu won't let him recreate the epic the way it should be done with all the character nuances.

And no Deepika for Panchali! Deepika has neither the looks nor the acting chops to portray the awesome force Panchali was.

I don't think anyone of the directors could do justice to either of those epics. Not Bollywood and not Hollywood ones or Tollywood.

Maybe if they all collaborated then yeah but that'd never happen.

Anushka Shetty she is great actress and gorgeous. Priyanka is a good actress too
