Katrina declared number one by box office india and many media houses as number one actress of decade. Kareena and pc had many flops bur kat was gving hits with new boys as well as old stars. Box office run is legendary. Kat peak was untouchable! Deepika had to fight it out with kat during 2013 2014. 2015 was kangana, 2016 , 2017 deepika didnt do a think. 2018 alia took over, Kareena was never public number one

As an actress and a star, Deepika. Katrina was more popular for being beautiful/hot than anything...even her biggest fans would admit she’s a weak and at best average actress.

Deepika is beautiful as well as talented, and that always puts her ahead of Kat

I am aware of the acting part. But not considering that, she still attained number #1 BO wise. so the question is more of a hype level on a subjective point of view.

Yeah but most of the movies that got her there were Salman movies...and everyone knows his movies are all about him with not much really for the heroine to do.

But that said there is no denying that along with being beautiful she does have a certain charm/likeability that has got her the popularity she has..

I don’t think anyone would watch a movie just to see Kat.. but Kat being there would definitely make a lot of people want to watch it more!

Wasnt Kareena like the "it" actress before the likes of katrina, deepika came in? I remember her being quite huge..so I am surprised she was never considered #1. If not her, than who was? I know Priyanka lagged behind her for quite a bit until fashion, mary kom days

I’d say Katrina too, she had a long run as a nation-wide sensation despite even her ardent fans admitting her lack of acting capability.
