Lol, it did not hit my nerve. fYi, I am checking myself and maintained distance only because my parents are doctors and asked me to do it. But expecting it from others when they were not told by authority it really stupid. I was also referring to Sonam who is clearly right here. I spoke what is fact and how people are carrying on blame game without knowing facts. It is sad some people think they are on some morale high ground and preach without knowing ground reality.

I wonder how many people were carrying out their jobs after 9th March? Isn’t Kanika professional and it is her job to attend such parties. It clearly seems you are in panic but try to understand others. I know people still working n going on public spaces, not everyone does for greed on money. They r just not aware of risks. It is governments job to make them aware or force them. In Kanika’s case authority just failed to do it.

And educated doesn’t mean you know everything about all things.

PS: I still haven’t received a single call or email to ask if I have symptoms or infected by authorities who took all information in health screening. Aren’t they supposed to do it often during my 14 days period after I landed in India. So decide yourself who is wrong here?

The self isolation is supposed to be voluntary especially for the so called educated people who are aware of the repercussions otherwise, not something the country needed to announce or force on the individuals...And especially when that individual came back from a country which had more cases of the said virus, then there shouldn’t be even a doubt about self quarantining...Clearly Kanika is in the wrong here and people supporting her stupid act are just as irresponsible as her...If anything, their dumb support is only enraging the people more and making them bash Kanika even more....

That said, now this should stop....Its silly how the entire SM is after Kanika now, as if she was the origin of this Virus...People have to learn to move on and focus on the bigger picture, especially in times like this!

Celebritis are soft targets, cases can be registered against them.

But common people are not far behind.

Mass was offered in churches, collective namaz were still held in mosques till yesteday while processions are being taken out by Krishna Swami temple in Kerala.

Who is going to register cases against them ?

Kanika has become a scapegoat

I remember almost many in India were celebrating Holi mingling with others in the community

she got screened, did not have any symptoms so she went ahead thinking she was Ok. Yes, she should have isolated herself for 2 weeks before going out, that was a mistake of hers but she wasn't the only one as the world was still waking up to this and did not understand the seriousness of it.

Unfortunately for her, with so many politicians involved, she is in big-time trouble.

Seriously, you don’t seem to have any insight on human nature. It is hypothetical that if I have roamed but I don’t deny the possibility because I don’t consider myself better than others. I am just common person. Anyone can make mistakes including you and me.

So about Kanika, She doesn’t have common sense so what? Are we going to blame people who are ignorant and now patients themselves? By that logic everyone who got infected did not follow some protocols of going to public spaces, carrying out jobs normally? So what is your deadline date of self isolation? if someone came to India in February, shouldn’t they also isolate themselves? Why this deadline became mid March?By common sense everyone coming to India since November 2019 should be isolating themselves? Isn’t it? Authority set particular date because they were aware of more cases in other countries. INDIA DID NOT INCLUDE UK IN HIGHLY INFECTED COUNTRIES TILL 9th MARCH. There were very few cases and deaths till then. There were other 12 countries in infected areas like China, honking, Italy, Iran and south East Asian countries.

Kanika, started showing symptoms just four days ago. After that she got tested herself. She had attended all parties when she did not have symptoms and was not aware of her condition. So I really failed to know your anger towards her.

Again, I trust you that you got call but I did not get any call. So government authority is not perfectly following all cases.

It is your choice if you want to reply or not. When you argue and make strong allegations on others, you should be ready to take counter arguments.
