Is Jhanvi the next Alia in the making?

No. See it is not very easy to replicate someone's success by just doing kind of films that worked for others. Film by film you have to cultivate your audience, doing different genres of films what suits you the best.

And mind you, Raazi cemented alia's position but it's just not Raazi that contributed to her success. Har women centric film Raazi nahi ban sakti, har film ki ek destiny hoti hai. Chappak tapak gayi, panga flopped. Women centric films don't guarantee success.

Romcoms are dying but with popular music and bit blend of comedy and drama they still.do.well at BO. Hit gaane masses me popular hue toh reach badhati hai. Alia films ke gane bhi popular the. Varun-alia ki hit pairing Jo logonko Pasand aati hai. Mass reach hona chaiye actor ka, class audience bahut intellectual samjhati hai khudko, masses are loyal. If they love you, and you keep giving them what they enjoy they will love you forever. Yeh sab accumulate home Raazi ko push mila.

Janhavi sirf women centric films karti firegi toh much nhi hoga. Opportunities to janu ko bhi milegi par uska fayada uthana usey aana chaiye. Itna easy nahi hai Alia ke jaise banana.

People don't want to see industry kids doing Taapsee level movies getting Taapsee level success.

Looks unlikely IMO. I like Jahnvi much better than Alia as a person but even average Aloo is a good deal ahead of jahnvi when it comes to acting... so unless she improves her acting skills hugely, that’s not happening 🤷🏽‍♀️

no, she needs to show atleast a little more talent to go ahead. if she can show decent to good talent in nice films, then she has a chance. because for star kids, only good talent is required. not like for non-star kids, where exceptional talent is necessary.

Yes. But I would consider Kriti to be a lot more bankable because she is getting relevant opportunities. lleana and Yami dont even get the correct oppprtunities which they should have started to get after their debut.

I think they hedge bets between Janvi and AniePee,..

Throw them good scripts, help them with PR... see what stick with public.

I remember when Alia debuted everyone hated her and it took one Highway for everyone to become her fan. Within a year everyone will be doing Janhvi Jaap
