Do you think a movie like Nayak would work in today's time?

I am not sure whether Nayak was a hit during its time.. but it certainly has gained a cult following..

A common man tries taking the whole corrupt system down..

Do you think we need a movie like that today? Which exposes the way our system and government works? Is a movie like that needed most in today's time than movies like Cop universe which glorifies the law enforcement agencies. Would anyone have guts to make a movie like that with an A lister which wont be an appeasement to the current government.

Also if anyone makes such movie, will it work or will there be a strong opposition to that? With most people being so overly jingoistic at this time..who are not ready to have a debate over the flaws of the ruling party.. can a movie like Nayak be hit in today's time?
