In our Indian society, people with depression are looked down upon, hence it is hushed up. No one wants to talk about it openly. If one does, he/she is made fun of or told to man up blah blah. Depression isn't a joke.

That's so true. Physical health issues are visible, people care for you, but what about mental health. You can't share your pain, with time it gets worse. Just wish our society starts understanding mental health problems too.

Did he though? I used to think that was the case until Vicky said very recently that he was offered Bhoot, signed and even started shooting it even before Uri came out. I know he's had success before that but nowhere near the massive boost to his popularity (relatively) that Uri brought to him. So *maybe* Kjo did know these guys even before they hit the big time and we're being a tad unfair in this regard.

vicky has bollywood pedigree, ssr is from tv. look at vikrant massey, he never gets invited/included by kjo either.

KJO destroyed many many people's career..

This may or may not be relevant with that but KJO does use outsiders as Pawns when they become a threat.

I always gave him as an example in my discussions on how he never got his due coz Bollywood elitists ignored and shunned him in spite of giving big hits.

It must be a really lonely feeling for an outsider to live in that hell hole called Bollywood. Once in a while there is someone resilient; Ash comes to mind, but then she had a lot of other things going for her.

IDK if it makes sense, but it is better for outsiders to grow thick skin like Kangana (however 🤪she may sound) if you want to make it & stay here.

When you do well and industry doesnt give you respect, this is what happens. He did everything and worked 10x time harded but couldnt win trust of few people he wanted to work with.

Can People stop blaming everything on KJo he is not the sole reason why one would get depressed?

maybe everyone haveing a problem should have raved his performances to the sky so maybe it would have picked up. his performances weren’t stood out performances. Maybe you should have watched his movies instead of questioning why wouldn’t someone offer him.

Didn’t Kjo offered him Drive?? the Movie was even unbearable to watch on Netflix forget in theaters.

Stop the blame game. It’s sad that he found no choice other than commit sucied.

What? what is going on?

I am so shell shocked right now...Never been this shocked in my entire life...I am literally crying reading this news and trying to process it...Just yesterday I finally took the Hotstar subscription and started watching my favorite Ekta show Kis Desh.....The last thing I did before going to bed was watch all the Prem-Preet scenes and was admiring how Preet aka SSR grew so much and how he has always been such a charming and good actor...
