Salman Khan has been nominated most times for Best Actor In Leading Role without winning. 11 times. I think that is a bigger issue

Not sure which movies, but to be honest Salman does the same in all his movies and even the same kind of clothes lol
I will say this though, i feel like his work in Tere Naam was good, so i wouldnt of minded if he got a award for that.
Ayushmaan is an outsider, and an ex-Roadie whose biggest successes are non-YRF films. He isn't a KJo protege either. Sushant has had successes (not just one like Rajeev's Aamir) so the tv serial background can't be a reason for him "underachieving" . His problem is 1) Not effective PR machinery to project the few successes he has had 2) Not comfortable in his own skin and trying to mask his complexes (such as not articulating well in English) with a whole lot of babbling in interviews that no one else can understand . 3) Being swayed by the idea of "belonging" in the cool kids gang and trying his hardest to get "invited" (what else can be the reason to sign Drive, and suck up to KJo. )
All one has to do is see his interviews pre-Byomkesh and Dhoni and post that.
He has fallen through the cracks. I remember an old interview with interview with Siddharth, Sushant, Ayushmaan and Anupama. There was a question about whether they would do a mainstream gay love story. Sushant was the only one who said YES without flinching. Ayushmaan hesitated. But look at the way their careers have turned out.
Sushant aspired for the kind of films Ayushmaan gets to choose from, along with the mainstream aspirational fame that Ranveer has. But not just them, everyone has raced ahead of him and found their niche, recognition and awards.
When Vidya won her first Filmfare Best Actress award she wasn't even dating her hubby
Back then, there wasn’t much nepotism like now. In the 2000’s, there were some outsiders like DP, PC, Vidya, RS, Anushka, Katrina, Kangana, Asin and some outsiders that got good opportunities with films and awards. KJo wasn’t that powerful back then. After he became powerful and overtook BW, most outsiders got neglected.

Ayushman is also from TV.. I don't think it's TV, he doesn't like ppl who doesn't suck up to him..
I forgot which interview but he outright said he only backs people whose careers he can control and that he chooses female stars for that reason. He talked about how male stars get too much power after a few hits and won't listen to you.
That's why he's gone after Alia, Ananya, Jahnvi and will do it again with Shanaya and others. They will do everything he asks even in their personal life and he can curate their career like a puppet master.
Same reason that people who think he will back Suhana are wrong. He can't control her - her father won't let it happen. So he won't be interested in her.
He doesn't care about Ayushman or Vicky or Ranveer or any of them. He is just using them because they're the younger stars who are doing well right now. He will forget they exist as soon as they start getting flops.

Ankita fans disappeared after Chhichhore's success but never fail to make a comeback in topics talking about Sushant not getting recognized enough. 🤪
And their favourite who 'aspired' to 'destroy' Sushant in Bollywood to race ahead is back to doing 5 minutes Ka sidey role in Baaghi3 after spending tons of money on pr 😂😂😂.

Huh? How exactly is Ankita related to the topic? Am I missing something here? This is such a weird reaction. .. But all your emoticons of hysterical laughter suggest jubilation due to crafting an excellent response to my post by raising relevant counter arguments.
I guess I am a little slow on the uptake. Sorry, my bad!

I have no interest in arguing with anyone and everyone who criticizes Sushant ...some replies here are about him being bad in Chhichhore...it's their opinion and if they think he din't do well then it's totally valid in their pov...I replied to none of those replies.
However some Ankita fans making fun of Sushant's career always amuses me. More amusing coz your tribe always seem to make an appearance whenever Sushant's film fails, doesn't get appreciation etc etc ...And the wonderful obituaries of his career you all love to write.
This is peak stan behaviour and very childish i know but I will continue to remind Sush-ita fans of Ankita's non existent career be it TV or films everytime your tribe mock Sushant's . 😎
