I know most will say Ranveer as he has tried his hand in every genre.
However, I feel Ayushman as his choices of roles are riskier per se. Playing a man suffering from premature baldness to a blind man, his choice of roles span an entire spectrum. My vote goes to him.
Ayushmann did some unique, out of the box films. But he had to do that to make a mark. He wasn't taking a big risk as such. Now his reputation has become such that his films always bring something new to the table, so he is just living up to that.
Ranbir and Ranveer were comfortably perched as lead heroes from the start and they come from a film background, so they could have done more mainstream movies but they did do a few risky roles, although I wouldn't call them so risky.
Why haven't they played a homosexual part yet? What stops them from playing an effeminate man? Why can't they play a transgender woman? Why can't they play a middle aged man? (they're almost touching 40). These are the real risks which few actors are taking. Just doing different genres doesn't mean they are big risks.

Exactly! You expressed it so well. That's what I feel about Ranveer.
Ayushman, on the other hand, though he sticks to mostly one genre, comedy with a social message, is more risk-taking than Ranbir and Ranveer.
Why does lead actor Ranveer look more like a side actor in Dhurandhar? So I was under the impression that Ranveer was playing the main lead in...
